  • An overnight stay in the crisp autumn atmosphere at Dunkeld was a pleasure, after the culinary delights of the wonderful Wickens Dining experience. The next highlight was walking through the kitchen garden with one of the talented chefs, who talked us through the philosophy of the garden, and illustrated the talents of Robin and Michelle and foresight applied to the planting.

  • So much to say about this place: great rooms, wonderful service, amazing restaurants, awesome mountain views, lovely products with sustainable focus, and Tesla chargers on site! We also enjoyed the ‘woodlands wander’ walk to see the ancient river red gum.

  • This is an amazing hotel that deserves a must-do rating when in Dunkeld. The degustation with master chef Wickens is a spectacular gastronomic highlight, while the rooms are just fabulous! The kitchen garden visit is very nice, showing guests the farm-to-table concept of the hotel restaurants while the private reserves are pretty nice too.

Lovebird's View

David and I had a lovely weekend at Royal Mail Hotel. The absolute highlight was the chef's tasting menu with matching wines. Visiting Royal Mail Hotel for a dinner/sleepover really should be on every lovebirds' to-do list.
