Absolute bliss

"We loved our stay in your magical place that you have created. We thank you so much."

Thorngrove Manor Hotel is a member of the prestigious Small Luxury Hotels of the World, ensuring a commitment to excellence in accommodation. This very distinctive and innovative property has consistently received awards and accolades for its unique style and professionalism. It has set a benchmark as the most creative and unexpected accommodation in Australia.

Thorngrove Manor Hotel is definitely not a typical five-star hotel. Thorngrove is a unique multi-towered, castle-like hotel with an abundance of gables, spires and exquisite gothic detailing, creating a mood of escapist fantasy and a timeless sense of history. The pointed arches and turrets, decorative plasterwork and elaborate entrances of this style of architecture provide romantic and whimsical appeal.

The accommodation is unique, flamboyant, creative and very individual, designed for the discerning traveller looking for a rewarding and refreshingly different accommodation experience. The whimsical and artistic interior reflects rare craftsmanship, featuring very select museum quality antique pieces, complemented by artisan-crafted furniture and modern amenities.

All guest areas within Thorngrove Manor Hotel are highly individual and romantic, with an atmosphere of relaxed informality. Suites are distinguished by their individual character ranging from country house traditional, rugged rusticity and elegant timelessness, to rooms of theatrical inspired artistry; all decorated with the utmost attention to detail and with a uniquely Australian contemporary twist and character.

Privacy is absolute; indeed you may never see other guests. Property safety and security is paramount with gates open only for arrival and departure of guests. A surrounding hedge delineates Thorngrove Manor Hotel from the outside world. Run under the personal supervision of the owners, the highest degree of personal attention to detail is assured with discreet, attentive and responsive personalised service.

Thorngrove Manor Hotel is situated in an area rich in heritage and scenery, positioned to take advantage of both city and country pursuits. All suites take advantage of the garden or tree top vistas, with opening windows providing fresh air. In early Spring Adelaide Rosellas and Rainbow Lorikeets may be heard chattering in the elm trees, whilst the majestic yellow-tailed black cockatoo frequents the soaring pine trees.

Thorngrove Manor Hotel is located 17 minutes from Adelaide's city centre. The village of Stirling is a five-minute walk down a marked and historic leafy lane. Thorngrove Manor Hotel is also five minutes from golf courses, Australian wildlife parks, wineries, art galleries, museums and botanic gardens.
