rest, relaxation and romance

"Your attention to detail, the vines, sunshine and warm ambience has been five-star. We loved the geese - what proud parents!"

Seppeltsfield Vineyard Cottage is an award-winning authentic 1860s heritage cottage exclusively for one couple, set amongst a vineyard with premium facilities and furnishings this is a unique experience to the Barossa Valley.

With the entire cottage to yourself, enjoy features such as the luxury bathroom with a deep antique cast iron bath with vineyard views, a double shower and warm, fluffy, white towels. In winter, the underfloor heating is a delight.

The king size iron bed with fine linen dominates the bedroom, which is furnished with beautiful antiques. Heavy drapes to keep the morning sun out and woolen carpet underfoot adds to the sense of quiet and luxury. The lounge features original wood beamed ceilings and an open fire. A Barossan handcrafted sideboard houses the kitchenette, and another hides the television, DVD player, Bose sound system, and a good selection of DVDs and CDs. Current glossy magazines, and an eclectic range of books means there is always something to fill in the hours of relaxation.

A double sun lounge on the rear verandah is the perfect spot to unwind with a glass of wine, read a book or take in the vineyard views. Cook a BBQ and watch the sun set over the vines and distant hills.

When you eventually decide to step out the door, visit places such as Hentley Farm winery and restaurant, Maggie Beer's Farm shop, Seppeltsfield Winery, and Appellation restaurant.
