Loved every minute

"The animals, dog, horses, cows, chickens are so beautiful and the wildlife is to die for! Very quaint, quiet, relaxing and perfect for the soul! Just what we needed."

Wattle Cottage is a cute, little, character-filled abode decorated with collectables from a bygone era. Situated on a rural property with picturesque scenery, it provides an ideal romantic escape.

At Wattle Cottage you’ll enjoy privacy and serenity, with plenty of wildlife to keep you company. You can also bring your well-behaved pooch. The cottage itself is very cosy and comfy. It features one bedroom and bathroom, freshly cut flowers, lounge area with flatscreen television, DVD/CD players and Foxtel, slow combustion fireplace and kitchen.

There is lots to keep you busy, without having to go anywhere – take a lovely bushwalk, visit the farm animals and meet the minature cow Scarlett and mini horse Billy, fish for yabbies in the dam, take a dip in the fresh water swimming hole, or enjoy a BBQ outside and breathe in those divine valley views and fresh country air.

  • Fantastic place! A wonderful little cottage. It’s been so long since I have dug up my own vegetables, they were delicious. On the first evening after dinner I proposed to Ludmilla and she said yes! We hope to come back one day and see this wonderful place again.

  • This place is gorgeous, views are stunning, the cottage is cute and comfortable, and there is lots to see and do. We very much enjoyed our stay and wished it could be longer. Thanks for having us; we will definitely come back again. The dogs loved it too.

  • Thank you for your lovely hospitality! We truly loved staying here and enjoyed cooking and stargazing. The best sleep in a most comfy bed and wonderful shower. Enjoyed feeding the horses an apple and watching the roos be as curious of us as we are amazed by them.
